Paul Vanier Beaulieu (Canadian, 1910-1996) Oil on Canvas, Bacchus, Dated 1991 depicting a vibrant still life featuring the mythical figure Bacchus, the Roman god of wine, amidst a colourful spread of wine bottles, glasses, grapes, and an apple. The piece is notably signed by the artist at the lower centre.

Dimensions: Canvas measures 26 x 32 inches

Condition: three pin holes and two scratches on face noted. 
Paul-Vanier Beaulieu was a prominent Canadian painter known for his expressive still lifes and landscapes.
