Francesco (Frank) Iacurto (Canadian, 1908-2001) Oil on Canvas, Harbour Scene titled Pecheurs D’Eperlans. Signed and dated lower right, 1974.
Dimensions: Canvas measures 16 inches H x 20 W. Frame measures 24 inches H x 28 W.
Iacurto was born in Montreal and studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts before continuing his education in Paris. He was renowned for his atmospheric oil paintings of Quebec City and the surrounding landscapes.
