All items are sold “AS IS”. Descriptions or conditions are not warranties. The descriptions of the conditions of articles and measurements in the auction catalogue, including all references to damages or repairs, are provided as a service to interested persons. Accordingly, all lots should be viewed by prospective buyers to evaluate the condition of the property offered for sale. Kavanagh Auctions assumes no responsibility for error or technical failure to execute bids placed online or otherwise.
Some of the items (lots) are offered with reserve prices, and that meeting the starting bid does not mean that the reserve has been meet.
All transactions are processed in Canadian dollars.
Invoicing & Charges
If you are the successful high bidder, Kavanagh Auctions will send you a copy of your invoice via e-mail within 5 business days after the sale. Payment is due within ten business days after the sale. In addition to the high bid (hammer price), the charges include a Buyer’s Premium and Applicable taxes. The Buyer’s Premium (as posted) will be added to the successful bid price and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price. Kavanagh Auctions offers contact-less payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, International Money Orders & E-Transfers. All credit card transactions will appear as “Kavanagh Auctions” on your credit card statement.
Packing & Shipping
After the auction is over, successful purchasers should have their property picked up by the seventh (7th) day following the sale. Please call or e-mail in advance so that Kavanagh Auctions may remove your items from our warehouse and have them available at our offices for pick-up.
Kavanagh Auctions does not pack or ship any item, nor do Kavanagh Auctions charge a surcharge for tendering items to a shipper. ALL packing, shipping & insurance charges will be the at the buyer’s expense. Unless otherwise notified, as a courtesy, Kavanagh Auctions will arrange for the packing and shipping.
All buyers may also arrange pick up, packing and shipping with a third-party carrier of their choice for any purchase.
Kavanagh Auctions highly recommends that ALL items be shipped with insurance. Kavanagh Auctions will not be held responsible for losses in any case where insurance was or was not requested by the buyer. All buyers should inspect packages at delivery receipt and inform the shipper immediately if any damages were sustained.
