Antique French Louis XV Rococo Style Dore Mantel Clock
Description
Antique French Louis XV style mantel clock featuring heavily styled Rococo decor, characterized by asymmetrical curves, organic movement, flowing acanthus leaves, and C-scroll flourishes. The case is cast in ormolu (gilt bronze) and features a circular clock dial inset with individual white porcelain enamel cartouches displaying black Roman numerals. Movement not tested, signed E.B. and numbered 11948. Missing bell and pendulum. Measurements: 24.5″H x 16″W x 9 ” D.
