Antique Viennese silver-gilt and painted enamel cabinet bowl (or decorative sauceboat) dating from the late 19th century.

Material: Constructed from silver-gilt decorated with vibrant painted enamel work.

Decoration: Features hand-painted classical mythological scenes, including cherubs and courting couples, set within a finely detailed border.

Hardware: Elevated on ornate, cast silver-gilt tripod feet and finished with an intricate, stylized handle shaped as a classical dragon figure set with small green cabochons and finished with enamel elements.

Origin: Crafted in Vienna, Austria, during the historicist revival era (circa 1880-1890).

Dimensions: 4 inches H x 6 W x 4.5 deep.
