A Ferdinand Preiss (German, 1882-1943) Art Deco sculpture titled The Spring from circa 1925 featuring a cold-painted bronze figure with carved features, mounted on a Brazilian green onyx base. The figure is modelled as a woman standing next to a wall featuring a bronze mask fountain and a small basin. Signed in onyx.
Artist: Ferdinand Preiss (1882-1943) was a renowned German-born sculptor known for high-quality Art Deco cabinet sculptures produced by his company, Preiss and Kassler
