Description
Finely painted porcelain plaques depicting misty scholar’s landscapes with pavilions, mountains, bridges, and boatmen. Each bears poetic inscriptions and artist seals. Presented in hardwood frames with brass hanging mounts.
Two rectangular porcelain plaques, each hand-painted in soft polychrome and ink tones, showing classical literati landscapes with distant peaks, river scenes, and architectural elements. Calligraphic inscriptions with red seals at upper left. Set in fitted hardwood frames with decorative brass hangers. Plaques approx. 5 × 7 in.; framed approx. 9 × 11 in. Republic period (early-mid 20th century).
