Chinese Famille Rose Floor Vase with Warrior Procession Scene, Republic Period
Description
Tall famille rose porcelain vase decorated with a vivid marching-warriors battleground scene and peach-and-floral borders, with auxiliary figural panels at the neck and applied openwork dragon handles. Classic Republic-era palette and detailing. Rebuild and restoration to rim, with repainting.
Hand-painted famille rose enamels; continuous warrior procession around the body, auspicious peaches and blossoms at the shoulder, and a figural interior scene panel at the neck. Applied pierced dragon-form handles. Unglazed footrim with old collector’s label; typical firing speckles. Height approx. 16 inches. Republic Period (early-mid 20th century).
