A striking Printer’s Proof from Tamayo’s iconic “Cabezas” series, depicting two stylized oval heads stacked vertically against a textured ground. The rich red and ochre tones and granular surface are characteristic of Tamayo’s late Mixografía period, developed in collaboration with the Remba workshop. As a Printer’s Proof, this impression exhibits unique tonal variation and handling distinct from the numbered edition.
