A powerful example of Tamayo’s celebrated “Wounded Dog” imagery, depicting a prone dog rendered with expressive tension and dramatic, granulated texture. The geometrical descending block and atmospheric background are signature elements of Tamayo’s late Symbolist vocabulary. As a Printer’s Proof (PP), this impression was retained for workshop use and displays unique tonal variations not present in the numbered edition.
