A Monumental Japanese Meiji Period Circa 1900, Sumida Gawa Art Pottery Vase by Ishiguro Koko. Raised Decoration of Figures in Ceremony Beneath a Slip Polychrome Decorated Shoulder with a heavy, dripping glaze in colors like green, blue, and red.
Ishiguro Koko (also known by his real name, Ishida Gozo) was a prominent Japanese ceramic artist active during the late Meiji to early Taisho periods (late 19th century to early 20th century).
