Description
The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Katsushika Hokusai, a famous woodblock print from the Japanese Edo period. It is part of a series titled "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, " which features iconic landscapes including the snow-capped peak in the background. The original print uses a distinct palette dominated by indigo and imported Prussian blue to depict the towering sea.
Dimensions: Paper measures 14.75 inches W x 9.5 H, matting measures 16 x 20 inches.
