Description
THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A finely crafted Chinese antique children’s collar shaped like a fierce tiger, of yellow gold satin with applique details and embroidered edges, these types of collars were more common in the Chinese northern provinces, the tiger giving protection to the wearer, circa late Qing dynasty late 19th – early 20th century.
Dimensions: Lucite frame and stand measures 17.5 inches H x 17.5 W x 5 deep, collar measures 11 inches W x 10 H.
