Antique German Porcelain Swan and Cherub Centrepiece Bowl
Description
German porcelain swan and cherub centerpiece bowl, featuring a prominent white swan with an orange beak, wrapped in climbing relief vines, leaves, and delicate floral blossoms. On the rear tail of the swan sits a sculpted cherub or winged putto figure helping support the vessel’s structure. Marked on underside with blue underglaze crossed lines, possibly Sitzendorf.
Dimensions: 8.5 inches H x 12 W x 6.5 deep.
Condition: Some loss to flowers and leaves.
