Art Deco French Sevres Vase By Paul Milet
Description
An Art Deco Sevres Pottery Vase designed by Paul Milet (1870-1950), a prominent French ceramic artist. Milet’s work is celebrated for its transition from the floral ornamentation of the Art Nouveau movement to the streamlined, bold colors of the Art Deco era. The vase features a vibrant turquoise and royal blue glaze with a green and black pattern, often described as a Moorish or geometric design. With MP Sevres mark within a dotted circle, used by Paul Milet from 1911 to 1930 after his father’s death.
