19th Century Museum Copy Study of the Famous Portrait of Beatrice Cenci, the iconic portrait traditionally attributed to Baroque master Guido Reni (and recently re-attributed by scholars to Ginevra Cantofoli). The painter demonstrates superb technical skill in rendering the dramatic chiaroscuro and the soft, fluid folds of the classic white turban and drapery. Some retouching to canvas. In molded giltwood frame measuring 31 x 26 inches, canvas measures 24 inches H x 19.5 W.
