Paul-Vanier Beaulieu, (Canadian, 1910-1996) A Companion Pair of Mid Century Portraits, one of a Woman and one of a Man painted on Oil on board. Painted in the Quebec Modernist-primitive style in bright, primary colours. Each signed Beaulieu, 46 lower left / lower right, Housed in original mid-century cream-linen lined weathered oak gallery frames. Originally bought at Dominion Gallery. Boards measure 10 inches H x 8 W, frames measure 18 x 16 inches.
