THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A cute vintage Chinese handmade intricately woven Shanghai weave rattan basket or box in the form of a turtle, the rear of the turtle with a lift off top revealing the storage compartment, the body of a striped design and the lid with a baby turtle handle, the head and feet of the turtle of varnished carved wood, the base with the Shanghai Handicrafts paper label stamped 329-45, circa mid-century 2nd half 20th century.
