Description
Chinese carved lavender chalcedony / agate hardstone figure, depicting a standing court lady or maiden holding a flower stem. The figure is carved in translucent pale lavender-grey stone with soft pink and smoky inclusions, the robes finely worked with flowing sleeve folds, layered drapery, and incised hair detail. Raised on a fitted carved hardwood stand.
