Description
Pair of Chinese Ming Dynasty Fahua glazed pottery figures, modeled as standing attendants or court figures in long robes, each with rich turquoise-blue and dark aubergine/brown glaze over a buff earthenware body. The figures retain strong sculptural presence, with expressive faces, folded garments, and ceremonial posture. Mounted on later fitted wooden display bases. A decorative and atmospheric pair representing the Ming taste for brightly glazed architectural, funerary, and devotional ceramic figures.
