Description
Marc Chagall (1887-1985) Jerusalem Windows framed offset colour lithographs reproducing the stained glass windows designed for Hadassah Hospital.
Marc Chagall designed these twelve stained glass windows, representing the Twelve Tribes of Israel, between 1960 and 1962. This set of two is composed of the Tribe of Zebulun, 3/75 and the tribe and the Tribe of Asher, 8/75. Both are signed lower left in pencil and edition number on right.
Dimensions: Image measures 12.5 x 9.5 W within matting, frame measures 21 x 18 inches.
