Georg Braun (Germany, 1541 – 1622) topographer, and Frans Hogenberg (Belgium, 1539 – 1590) mapmaker, a plate from the Civitates Orbis Terrarum (Cities of the World), Volume 2, dated 1575, View of Grodna (Grodno), formerly in Lithuania (now Belarus), engraved by Simon Novellanus and Joris Hoefnagel, , published by Peter von Brachel, Cologne, Germany.
Dimensions: Map measures 16.25 inches H x 21.25 W, frame measures 19 x 24 inches.
Condition: Some soiling and staining, crease marks.
