An African tribal figure, likely a Senufo piece from the Ivory Coast carved from dark wood with remnants of old BADA sticker. 


Senufo (Ivory Coast): Many similar sculptures are identified as Senufo figures, often used in rituals or as intermediaries between physical and spiritual realms. The "bowlkeeper" style specifically depicts figures carrying vessels on their heads to hold offerings or sacred substances
Symbolism: Figures carrying items on their heads frequently represent fertility, womanhood, or the provision of offerings.
Abstract Proportions: Long necks, slender limbs, and stylized facial features are common in tribal art from these regions
