The Metoko (or Mituku) people of the Democratic Republic of Congo inhabit the equatorial forest of the Middle Lwalaba region. Their artistic style is deeply influenced by their neighbors, the Lega, yet maintains a distinct identity through its dynamic abstraction and geometric forms.
