Description

Heavy 18 karat yellow gold ring set with a large natural emerald in an open tension-style setting, accented by a small round bezel-set diamond below the center stone. The mount is broad and architectural, with squared shoulders rising to hold the emerald laterally, leaving the stone visibly exposed from the side and underside.


The ring has a substantial modernist profile, with a wide tapered shank and polished geometric gold surfaces. The emerald shows visible natural inclusions and surface-reaching characteristics consistent with emerald material. The interior of the shank shows wear, scratches, and apparent previous sizing or adjustment. Tiffany & Co. ring box included.
