Description

Art Nouveau silver-plate, or pewter Accessory components. The central piece is a buckle or clasp, while the smaller side pieces are designed to coordinate as part of a larger set, such as a chatelaine or a decorative belt. 


Art Nouveau Aesthetic: The pieces feature the characteristic "maiden face" with flowing, curvilinear hair and botanical motifs typical of the Art Nouveau movement (c. 1890-1910). 
Clasps and Buckles: The central long piece is consistent with belt buckles or cloak clasps. Similar three-piece sets were often used as fasteners for capes or waistbands. 
Dimensions: Larger buckle measures 3 inches H x 1.5 W. Smaller buckles measure 1.5 inches H x 1 W.
