Description

Small Inuit carved Soapstone Muskox in a walking stance, rendered with simplified naturalistic form and polished grey stone surface. The underside bears an incised signature in Inuit syllabics. Accompanied by a collection label identifying the piece as Coppermine (Kugluktuk) and inventory reference CPS 278. Chip to one horn.
