Légendes, coutumes, métiers de la Nouvelle-France, a book featuring the bronze sculptures of renowned Canadian artist Alfred Laliberté (1878-1953).
Published by Librairie Beauchemin in Montreal around 1934, the book contains approximately 250 pages and includes 122 black-and-white reproductions of Laliberté’s work. His sculptures showcased in this volume illustrate various aspects of family and rural life, as well as the traditional customs and trades of New France.

Edition: This was originally released as a limited edition of 3,000 copies.
Preface: The book features a preface written by Charles Maillard, who was the Director of Fine Arts for the province of Quebec at the time.
