Impressive bronze figure depicting the Hindu deity Hanuman, the monkey god and devoted follower of Rama, shown standing in a dynamic frontal pose. The figure holds a gada (mace) in one hand and a mountain in the other—an iconographic reference to the Ramayana, where Hanuman carries the Sanjeevani mountain to save Lakshmana..
