Decorative Art Glass Vase by Frantisek Vízner (Czech, 1936 – 2011) produced between 1976 and 1992, featuring densely shaped forms of cobalt blue glass and mica swirling stripes. With original sticker, signed on base. Measuring 9 inches H x 6.5 W.
Frantisek Vizner was a preeminent Czech glass artist and sculptor, widely regarded as a master of 20th-century studio glass. He is celebrated for his ability to transform functional objects, primarily bowls and vases, into minimalist, non-functional sculptural forms characterized by pure geometric lines and harmonious proportions.
