Pair of carved wood candlesticks featuring gilt surfaces with blue painted accents in recessed fluted and foliate details.
Each stands on a circular base with carved leaf motifs, rising to a baluster-form stem and foliate candle cup. The surfaces display aged gilding with visible wear and scattered losses, enhancing their decorative patina.

Condition
Wear to gilding throughout, with areas of loss and surface abrasions. Minor chipping to gesso consistent with age. Structurally stable.
