Bronze (copper alloy)
Cast bronze seated Buddha depicted in bhumisparsa mudra (earth-touching gesture), seated atop a lotus-petal throne and raised stepped plinth, backed by an elaborate pierced flame-leaf aureole. The Buddha is rendered with a serene expression, almond-shaped eyes, arched brows, and tightly coiled hair surmounted by an ushnisha. The aureole is ornamented with stylized flame and foliate motifs, characteristic of Northern Thai (Lan Na) Buddhist sculptural traditions.
