American Commemorative Bowie Knife engraved, Remember the Alamo
Description
American Commemorative Bowie knife with the words engraved, Remember the Alamo 1836, the last stand of col. Jim Bowie, on one side of the blade. James Bowie was an officer for the U.S. army at the legendary battle of the Alamo, in Texas, a battle that took his life in 1836. His large knife played an important role in this battle, and also in many others this American hero was. These stories, and Bowie’s prowess with its legendary knife, led to the widespread popularity of the Bowie knife. This particular blade is very thick and heavy, with a very solid and large hilt with brass rivets. Measuring 16 inches L x 3 W, blade measures 10.5 inches L.
