Description
Antique, circa 1893, fully painted Russian icon on wood panel; lined with velvet with elaborate guilt and enameled metal riza, possibly copper; stamped with hallmarks along lower edge of riza, Lev Olek assay mark, Moscow. Wear to exposed face and hands, chips, losses, scratches, cracking, discoloration; riza has wear, losses, scratching, dents. Measuring 12.5 inches H x 10.5 W.
