Royal Worcester William Ricketts Pedestal Vase & Cover, Shape 2736 (1930s)
Description
A fine Royal Worcester William Ricketts porcelain pedestal vase and cover, shape no. 2736, beautifully hand-painted with a vivid still-life of peaches, apples, and berries on both sides. The baluster body sits on a tall gilt pedestal foot and features twin angular handles and a domed gilt cover with flame finial. Rich all-over gilding typical of Worcester’s interwar luxury production. Marked in puce with the Royal Worcester crest, Made in England, and shape number 2736 to the base. Height: approx. 9 in. Condition: Light surface wear to gilding consistent with age; no visible chips or cracks.
