Bohemian Art Glass Pitcher with Applied Lizard Handle, c. 1880-1900
Description
A richly decorated Bohemian glass pitcher featuring a sculpted multicolored lizard forming the handle, teal dripped rim, and hand-enameled floral decoration on amber-tinted glass.
Hand-blown Bohemian art glass; applied teal “drip” rim and highly detailed millefiori-style lizard handle wrapped around the body. Gold highlights and enamel-painted blossoms across the surface. Ground and polished pontil underneath. Height approx. 6.5 inches. Excellent decorative example of late 19th-century Bohemian studio production.
