Michael Pavlik Studio Art Glass Incalmo Cone Vase, c. Late 20th Century
Description
Hand-blown sculptural art glass vase with a conical lower body fading from cream to cranberry, capped by a thick incalmo-style band of blue, teal, and amethyst, signed along lower rim, Michael Pavlik 1982. The rim is asymmetrically folded, creating a dynamic, contemporary form.
Heavy studio art glass; layered and pulled color design with internal ribbing and controlled color transitions. Asymmetrically folded top opening; polished pontil. Approx. 9.5 × 6.5 inches. Minor rim bruise on one side as shown, small chips to base.
