THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A beautifully crafted large Chinese vintage Shanghai weave rattan and bamboo sculpture box of a a falcon about to take flight, the wings tilting back to reveal a storage compartment, the body and wings of intricately set cut bamboo with woven rattan, with carved varnished wood elements and set on a carved wooden base, the base with the Shanghai Handicrafts paper label 325-456, circa mid-century 2nd half 20th century.
Dimensions: 17 inches H x 28 W.
Condition: Minor damage to wing, split to tail.
