 THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A Japanese antique black silk tomesode (formal) kimono with five daki-mon family crests located near the upper right and left breast, the centre back and on the back of each sleeve, the lower body with a swirling sensu (folding fan) and floral motif in reds, oranges and yellows, momi red silk lining, circa early 1900’s. A folding fan motif represents expanding good fortune.
