THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A Japanese antique black silk tomesode (formal) kimono with five daki-mon family crests located near the upper right and left breast, the centre back and on the back of each sleeve, the lower body with a floral bouquet motif featuring the enreisou (trillium) flower in muted greens, oranges and golds, momi red silk lining, circa early 1900’s. The trillim flower represents longevity and quiet resilience.
