Description
Tibetan turquoise silver pendant, set with a large freeform natural turquoise nugget showing vivid blue-green color and dark spiderweb matrix. The stone is mounted in a handmade silver or white-metal setting with repoussé and engraved foliate decoration, scalloped bezel edges, and a large tubular suspension bail. The form and metalwork strongly suggest Tibetan / Himalayan amulet jewelry, where turquoise is traditionally valued as a protective and auspicious stone. The pendant has strong visual presence due to the large irregular turquoise specimen, dark natural matrix, and handcrafted silver mount.
