Antique 19th C Indo-Persian shield, commonly known as a Dhal or Sipar. 

Material and Design: A circular, convex shield made of brass, featuring an upturned rim and hand-hammered details. 
Decoration: Elaborately hand-chiseled with floral patterns, arabesque designs, or calligraphic inscriptions with four raised decorative knobs, known as bosses.
Dimensions: 19.5 inches diameter.
