Antique Italian Ceramic Albarello Apothecary Jar Vase traditionally used in pharmacies to store medicinal herbs and ointments. 


Design: It features a waisted cylindrical shape, which was practical for handling on narrow pharmacy shelves. The decoration is polychrome maiolica (tin-glazed earthenware) using a palette of green, yellow, and blue with scrolling foliate or floral patterns. 
Dimensions: 9 inches H x 6 W.
