Gallo-Roman Redware Tableware Jug or Amphora, Two Handle Form


Material: Terracotta or clay with a distinctive thick, orange-red slip.
Design: It features a broad, globular or ovoid body, a slender tapering neck, and two ribbed or strap handles that often connect the neck to the shoulder.
Use: While larger versions were used for storage, flagons like this were often used to serve liquids like wine
