Description
A vibrant Murano art glass vase attributed to Vittorio Ferro, executed in the murrine technique and showcasing the rich chromatic complexity for which Venetian studio glass is celebrated. The elongated baluster form rises to a gently flared neck, its surface enlivened by densely arranged multicoloured murrine elements suspended within a clear glass matrix. The composition creates a mosaic-like visual effect, with the polychrome canes catching and refracting light across the vessel’s curved body. A decorative and highly collectible example of late 20th-century Murano production, combining traditional Venetian cane-working methods with a bold modern palette.
