A sculptural Murano art glass lamp base, attributed to Alfredo Barbini, executed in the pulegoso technique and dating to the early-to-mid 20th century. The vessel displays a classic baluster form with a gently flared neck and rounded body, internally suffused with dense, finely dispersed bubbles characteristic of pulegoso glass.
