An Edwardian Satinwood and Marquetry Demi-Lune Display Cabinet
Description
This display cabinet, designed in the Edwardian or Sheraton Revival style, features a demi-lune or bow-front form. The exterior is finished with light-colored satinwood veneers and decorated with a marquetry frieze along the top displaying floral and foliate motifs. The piece is further detailed with crossbanded edging. The front consists of a large, central glass-paneled door flanked by fixed curved glass side panels. The interior is lined with red velvet and contains a single glass shelf. The cabinet is supported by a solid plinth base resting on short, rounded feet. Measuring 37 inches H x 34 W x 16.75 deep. Some minor burns to wood top.
