Antique Chinese Box with Jade Medallion and Brass Bat Mounts
Description
Antique Chinese hardwood box, the hinged lid set with a circular pierced jade medallion carved with double fish, flanked by auspicious brass bat-form mounts, with further brass corner and edge fittings. The interior retains remnants of an old fabric lining.
Measuring 4”D x 6.5”W x 3”H.
Condition: Wear and age patina to wood and fittings; interior fabric largely deteriorated; jade medallion intact with minor natural inclusions.
