THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – An interesting large rectangular antique Chinese hand embroidered silk tapestry fragment, the silk embroidered fragment showing a still life image with a vase showing a fierce dragon, a bowl of fruit and floral arrangement, with extensive use of gold threading throughout, set on an orange ground, with a modern brocade edge and olive green silk backing, late Qing dynasty, late 19th century – early 20th century. Approximately 16 x 18 inches.
