Description
A pair of Japanese iron damascene cabinet dishes dating from the Meiji Period (1868-1912), each dish features intricate gold and silver wire hammered onto a matte, black-patinated iron ground. Both featuring landscapes showcasing a snow-capped Mount Fuji with figures in the foreground, finished with a fine gilt rim and are artist-signed on the reverse with gold-inlaid characters. 9.25 inches W.
